Travel theme: Circles

The theme this week at the Where’s My Backpack blog is Circles. I came to think of the best pizza we ever had, in a small local pizzeria in a suburb of Genoa, Italy. The circles may be imperfect, but the pizza itself, and the slices of that magnificent mozzarella, was perfect for sure.

  2. Why is it that the cheese in Italian pizzas are not as oily as the USA pizzas??? Did you have the same observation while having pizza in Italy?

    • I just think Italian restaurants, in general, are so much more concerned with the quality of each ingredient that what ever you eat there will taste better than in other places of the world. This cheese was just perfect.

    • Hello!
Sorry for late reply, I tried to get the information but I could not really remember or find someone to ask, sorry. But it was slightly outside Genoa city, on the way “south” on the coast line.
